This last boy has finally found a great home, not far from where he originally lived.  Thank goodness! Thanks to anyone and everyone who shared his story. xx

2 of the 3 roosters have now found amazing and wonderful homes.  So now this last little fella is all on his own and needs to find that perfect home to call his own.  He is losing all the baby fluff and now donning some impressive Rooster plumage which will only improve with age.

Do you think you could offer this handsome devil safe sanctuary?  If so, please read the original call for help below and register your interest via the online form.

Hi everyone, I received the following call for help from a lady in Perth seeking to find good homes for 3 handsome roosters. Please read the story below – these boys are to go to safe, loving homes only that can guarantee they will never be put in the pot.

“I was wondering if I may ask for some help? I recently rescued 3 beautiful roosters that had been dumped in an information bay on a busy highway. They were very hungry and weak. They have been with us for a few weeks now and are healthy and strong and all 3 are gentle boys. We now need to rehome them (we aren’t allowed to have roosters here and we can be made to rehome them) but we already have one rooster who has been in our family for years and we don’t want to lose him. We need good homes for these boys. 2 are black and gold or grey and gold. I’m unsure of their breed. Its one I’ve not seen before. The big orange and red one is Spartacus and he needs a home too. We were going to try and keep him but he is just getting too loud and I have to protect our other animals from the council. I’m heartbroken as I’d bonded with him. He is a character. As I said they are gorgeous souls but I don’t want people taking them for the pot. I was wondering if anyone had a farm or a property that could take them. They are gorgeous and all 3 are very gentle and loving and would be a great addition to anyone’s chook run.

Please fill in our EXPRESSION OF INTEREST form if you would like to know more or offer to adopt one or all of these roosters. All applications are forwarded to the current custodian for consideration, and you will be contacted as soon as possible to discuss your offer further. Please understand that it may take time for us to respond to you depending on the amount of applications received, and it is never a case of first come, first served with animal adoptions, as we have to do our best to locate the absolute best homes for the animals.  Alternatively, you can join in the conversation about this rooster on Facebook – HERE.
