I just heard from Freedom that this little fella has found a wonderful home.  GREAT NEWS!!  Good luck little guy. xx

I received a call regarding a rooster today from the most unlikely of places… it came from the Cat Haven in Shenton Park! Would you believe that someone actually dumped this young rooster at the Haven overnight so that workers would discover him in the morning? The poor little guy. 😦 Luckily though, one of the volunteers at the Haven has been able to give him a very temporary home whilst we try to help this little fella out.

So, we are seeking a very safe and loving home for this little man. He is very handsome (as you can see) and being a Bantam, he will most likely not be as dominant and aggressive as some larger roosters can become. Due to the fact that roosters are often dumped or killed because they can be hard to home, this little man is not to be bred from, and we would seek assurance from any potential adopter that they agree to this condition. He is also – of course – not for anyone’s pot. Only loving homes that want him as a companion and family member will be considered.

We are in a bit of a hurry to find somewhere great for him, as the kindly lady who has him now lives in suburbia and cannot keep him there long due to shire regulations. So if you can help, or know anyone who can give this boy a fantastic home, please do let us know ASAP.

Please fill in our EXPRESSION OF INTEREST form if you would like to know more, or offer to adopt.

All suitable applications are forwarded to the current custodian for consideration, and you will be contacted as soon as possible to discuss your offer further. Please understand that it may take a few days for us to respond to you depending on the amount of applications received, and it is never a case of first come, first served with animal adoptions, as we have to do our best to locate the absolute best homes for the animals. If you have any problems or further queries, please contact Animal Actionist direct via the “contact us” link. Thank you so much for caring for animals.
