This message comes from Argyle & Ord’s rescuer – Lee:

“Hi Maree
We had so many people looking out for these two I had forgotten to tell everyone that these two beauties have been adopted to the best family in Kingsley and are very happy.
Thank you to your company for all the efforts made.  Your work is amazing!

I’m so very happy these two are happy and OK… thank you to everyone who shared their story, and the biggest thank you goes to the unknown family who adopted them..  what angels!

This beautiful pair were found wandering a lonely stretch of road in the remote North of Australia.  Lucky for them, they were picked up by an incredibly kind and generous lady who has taken on the job of trying to find their original owners, or a loving forever home.  Read Lee’s story below for all the details of how she found them and what happened afterwards;

“Coming back from a film shoot in Lake Arglye – 100kms from Kununarra we
found these two on the side of the road. They were hungry and dehydrated.

We gave them water and drove them the 100kms to the Kununarra Vet.  They
kept them for the 72 hours, but no one claimed them.  With thanks to S.A.F.E
Karratha, Australian Air Express and Jet Pets they have been flown to Perth
to try and find them homes.

Since being here, we have had them sterlised, deticked and generally guided
back to good health.  They are approximately 7 -8 years of age.  The girl
(Argyle) is the brindle Bully X, The boy is Ord and a black Lab X.

They have obviously come from a good home as they are impeccable with their
behaviour, are good inside the house, great around people (including young
kids) and other dogs, love riding in cars and just love being around people.
Ord has also had expensive dental work done, so their original owners
obviously loved and cared for them. We are trying to find their owners but
have had no joy.

They are suffering from separation anxiety and try to get out when left
alone.  On the couple of occasions they have done this, they have only
wandered into a neighbours yard looking for human company.

THEY CANNOT BE SEPARATED – as the time they have spent in the outback had
made them very close.   The foster homes that have had them over the past 10
days have all fallen in love with them but their own circumstances cannot
allow these people to keep them.

We are keen for anyone who can offer to foster them or preferably home them.
They have been through a lot so deserve to spend the latter years in a good,
loving home.”
