These two have been adopted by a lovely lady who even had a special coop built just for them!  She also took on some geese from the same property. Thank you Kirsty!

The following call for help comes from a lovely lady who takes wonderful care of her animals.  Recently, it has become necessary for her to move to suburbia, so she has had to find good homes for her various farm critters.  We have already taken quite a few of her animals on but these two cannot come to us, so we are putting the word out to see if we can find somewhere really fabulous for them to go.  Could it be with you?  Here’s what she has to say about this cute little duo:

“These babies were at my sons house until the little fella turned out to be a rooster and started crowing, so we took them on. They have grown up together from eggs and would have to stay together. The boy is a Pekin bantam rooster and the girl is a full sized Moran chook – they are both about 6 months old. He is very handsome and funny, she is a peculiar looking feather footed creature that runs with an hilarious gait! They are totally bonded and would stress if they were separated , I wish I could keep them but there are strict rules about roosters in suburbia. 😦  I hope we can find somewhere safe and happy for them to go.”
