Wonderous news everyone!  Mimi has been adopted – along with 2 other dogs at the Stirling Pound, plus two others have been taken into foster care, meaning no dogs were put down this time around… HOORAY!!!  Congratulations to Mel from SAFE Avon Valley and Mel Ee from Staffy & Bully Breed Rescue for coordinating these rescues, you guys are doing a truly inspirational job and making REAL differences in the lives of pooches who would otherwise be alone in this world, and very likely no longer alive.  Thank you too to everyone who reads and shares these posts – it is so important that we all spread the word for the critters who are facing death row at pounds, as time is always running out and getting the word out quickly is the only thing that will save their lives.  The Desperate Pets community, Facebook community, Twitter crowd and Animalactionist Blog readers are instumental in making this happen – so thank you all so very VERY much.  I will put up a seperate notice for the two dogs taken into foster and who are now looking for adopters – so keep your eyes on the blog and keep your “share” finger pressing! 😀  Thanks again!!! xxx

This is very urgent – please help Mimi before it is too late. We have a volunteer who is willing to help with pound fees to get her out if necessary. Mimi is unsterilised so a commitment to have her sterilised once she is adopted will be needed.

MIMI (Staffyx female) has had 3 reprieves and this time is her final chance to be saved. She will be pts this Friday.

The rangers say she is 100% with humans, loving and gorgeous. Tends to growl at other dogs walking past her cage so could be pound situation but as she hasn’t been tested 1/1 with another dog in open environment it’s not clear if she has socialisation issues.

Mimi would make someone a loving companian dog – she’s so quiet and gentle – a real sweetie!

Mimi is at the City of Stirling Animal Care Facility is located at 15 Natalie Way, Balcatta. telephone: 9345 8584. The Facility is open weekdays 2.00pm – 5.30pm and weekends 12.30pm -1.30pm or email me.
